🏗️Create your AI support agent
This is a step-by-step guide showing you how you can create your AI agent and add it to your website in just a few minutes of hands' on setup time.
Step 1 - Add your help docs and knowledge articles (<10 seconds)
To get started, click "Create your free AI agent", enter your help docs URL, choose your current live chat provider from the list then click to continue with Google or Sign up (you must use a work email).
Step 2 - Tell us a bit about your current set-up
We'll ask you a few quick questions that will help tailor your set-up experience like:
How many support tickets do you receive each month?
Where are your help docs?
Step 3 - Customize your AI agent (<30 seconds)
If you chose Intercom, Zendesk or HubSpot as your live chat provider, you'll skip this step.
We'll then start searching your site for all your help docs webpages, while we do that, you can customize your chat widget (we'll use some magic to try and pre-populate anything we can for you 🪄).
From here you can edit your:
Company name
Logo
Brand colors
Welcome message
Starter questions and;
(You can change the language later)
You'll see everything update as you change them so you know what it'll look like.
Step 4 - Configure your human handover (<30 seconds)
If you chose Intercom, Zendesk or HubSpot, you'll skip this step.
Next, it's time to choose how you want your users to contact your support team.
Right now you can choose between the following chat options:
Intercom
LiveChat
Tawk
Zendesk
Crisp
Tidio
Zoho (SalesIQ)
Freshchat
Hubspot
Email
Link (e.g. URL to your help docs or a contact form)
(If your live chat provider is missing, contact us here).
At this stage, you can also decide how visible you want your live chat widget to be - either it can be accessible from the widget menu at all times, or only after the user has already asked a question.
Step 4 - See how it answers (<60 seconds or however long you want!)
Your AI support agent has now been trained on your homepage (we'll add all your other pages once you have completed your set-up)
Now your AI support agent has been built it's time to try it out, ask questions based on your homepage and see what answers it gives.
You can also see what the human handover feature looks like too, just click the "Talk to a person" button or type "Talk to a person".
You can even share this page with your colleagues to see what they think.
Step 5 (last one) - Try it all out!
Once you have asked 3 questions, click "Go to my dashboard" and from there you can try out the rest of the platform.
You now have 30 days to fully test out all the features of the My AskAI platform, test your AI agent responses and add to your site, for free!
